Arica Beach and the Altiplano Valley

Arica known as "The City of Eternal Spring, is the place to go if you don't want to worry about getting rained on during your vacation. Many People who live here cannot even remember ever seeing it rain, as it rains only 2 to 3 times in every 100 years.
Arica is the most northern city in Chile and is located on the coast of the driest desert, not only in South America but in the world.
It has a great beach where you can enjoy the sun and take a swim. If you take a tour or rent a car you can drive up to the Green Uta valley. This valley cuts through the desert with water from rain and melting snow higher up in the Andes Mountains. There is a lot of history and life in this area. It's one of favorite areas for visitors.
